Back to Our Nature started with a simple passion: foraging. It was shaped by the spark that came from meeting other foragers - moments where passion and connection came alive. By surrounding ourselves with like-minded people, we create the conditions for growth: sharing knowledge, exchanging insights, and supporting each other’s path.
We believe that real impact begins within, but grows stronger in community. In the Mediterranean nature of Southern Italy, we create something greater than the sum of our parts. Far from daily routines, you're invited to slow down, dive deep, and reconnect with what truly matters.

About us:
In 2022, we left behind the familiar - home, job, routine - and set off in a camper. Nature met me on the road - a single mugwort in Denmark, chanterelles in Sweden - each encounter rekindled something ancient.
Foraging became more than a passion; it became a way to listen, to guide, to reconnect. As an applied psychologist, I've spent years helping others navigate transformation. But it was nature that invited me into a deeper kind of connection - with myself, with others, and the natural world around us.
In 2024, we found in Calabria a rhythm of life that felt true, a place to raise my children close to what matters. It has grown to a place of connection, a place of collective remembering.
Our roots are our own. Our strength is shared.

Our Location
In the southern part of Italy, with sea views stretching toward Sicily, we’ve found a beautiful place. Here, you are surrounded by Mediterranean nature, where the sea meets the slopes of the mountains. We are blessed with stillness, shared moments around the campfire, and star-filled skies at night.
We eat delicious Italian food made with fresh, local fruits and vegetables - complemented by wild-foraged ingredients, and always prepared with care, creativity and love.
In addition to a cozy room in our accommodation, you can also stay in one of the bell tents between the olive trees, bringing you even closer to the land.
